A Groton Parks Foundation Fundraiser
Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 | 7-9PM 
How often do we get to enjoy our woods and trails at night? The Luminaria Walk will illuminate trails in Copp Family Park for families to enjoy an easy, short walk. All proceeds benefit Groton Parks Foundation which supports park improvements and recreation programs.
*All parking is at Seaport Community Church & a free shuttle to Copp Park is provided.
Can't make it? Please still consider donating to support Groton Parks Foundation (501(c)(3). Your tax-deductible donation to Groton Parks Foundation will support ongoing and future projects to enhance Groton recreational opportunities. HIRING: Program Director - AquaticsHiring Aquatics Director

The Aquatics Program Director plans and implements a wide variety of aquatics programs, supervises aquatics staff and must have thorough understanding of a variety of aquatics programs.
Ability to work with people of all ages in the discharge of duties. Strong ability to maintain respect and discipline from participants, and to develop and maintain a cooperative relationship with associates, parents and others. Considerable experience in dealing with people in group situations and strong customer service skills. Ability to objectively evaluate program and submit comprehensive and well written reports. Ability to plan, organize, implement and supervise a series of programs and to manage operation of a facility for programs. Experience with inclusion and serving people with varying abilities. Supervisory experience and Lifeguard Certification required. Lifeguard Instructor and Water Safety Instructor certifications strongly desired

HIRING Basketball Camp 2024
Groton Parks and Recreation is looking for a knowledgeable individual to run our "Introduction to Basketball" camp for the upcoming Summer. The camp is scheduled to run from 6/24-6/28, M-F, 9:00-1:00. Interested individuals should be experienced in the game of basketball and ideally have a history of basketball instruction.
